Purpose and Core Strategic Planning and Mission Team

These teams organize and assist in hosting special mission events, breakfasts, dinners and speaking opportunities for visiting missionaries. Teams also plan and host missions oriented activities such as fundraisers for short and long-term missions trips.

City on a Hill:

This on-going outreach is a partnership with City on a Hill ministry (2224 W Kilbourn Ave). Ministry provides car for homeless and low-income families the 2nd Saturday of each month from 10:30am to 3:30pm. Volunteers serve in on-going chapel worship and prayer service, one-on-one evangelism, and Women's Life Group facilitation. Other volunteer service opportunities directly through the ministry in medical/health services, food services, and food pantry are available.

Africa Outreach:

Our church participates in many outreaches in Africa such as supporting missionaries that live and minister there. Volunteers are needed to help communicate with missionaries and work with the purpose team to plan events; including mission trips.

Teen Challenge Outreach:

This ministry's effort involves participating in Bible Studies at the Teen Challenge homes for women and men recovering from addiction. Volunteers must agree to attend and participate in these Bible Studies. 

Mission and Prayer Conferences:

These are conferences organized to focus our attention on God's call to pray for, serve in outreaches, and reach our world for Christ.

Missions' Sundays:

These are Sundays dedicated to honoring missionaries we support, cultivating missional hearts and awareness of missions that are reaching the world for Christ and how others can help.
