First Lady, Judy Harvey is the wife of our Senior Pastor, Walter Harvey. Proverbs 12:4 reads "A wife of noble character is her husband's crown."They have been happily married for 29 years. First Lady Judy Harvey is the daughter of Robert and Ethel Martin. She was born in Springfield, Illinois and grew up in Kankakee, Illinois, before residing in Milwaukee, WI. She is a graduate of John Marshall High School, and attended Milwaukee Area Technical College to study Computer Science.
First Lady became employed with Master Lock Corporation shortly after completing High School, and remained there for over 8 years. She integrated herself with the Banking Industry shortly before leaving Master Lock, and pursued her Real Estate career, becoming a licensed Real Estate Agent in Milwaukee, WI."Proverbs 31:28-30 says, "Her children rise up and call her blessed; herhusband also, and he praises her. Many daughters have done well, but you excel them all. Charm is deceitful and beauty is passing, but a woman who fears the Lord, she shall be praised."First Lady is the mother of Nicholas Harvey and Grandmother of Autumn Marie Harvey.
She assists our Senior Pastor by leading Parklawn’s Women’s Ministry, “Women of Virtue.” She is a bold and passionate speaker, and leads the call to purity, sincerity and service to the Lord and His people. Her life experiences have contributed to her passion to serve women, children and senior citizens. First Lady is also a 10-year "survivor" of breast cancer.
Pastor Greg Washington grew up in Denver, Colorado, where he and his mother often faced the choice of either accepting present circumstances or diminishing the victim mentality and allowing God to use them. By the grace of God, they chose the latter, and the same held true when God called Pastor Greg to ministry in 2006. Following the instruction of the Holy Spirit, Pastor Greg attended Trinity Bible College in Ellendale, North Dakota to receive training as an evangelist, and now he aims to pass on the lesson of victory through Christ to others.
Pastor Greg holds a double degree in Christian Leadership and Biblical Studies and an Associates Degree in Psychology. He is also a licensed Minister with the Assemblies of God. He and his wife, Tiffany, currently reside in Milwaukee, WI, where he is the Executive Pastor at Parklawn Assembly of God Church. He seeks to create a community where people can be transparent and transformed by the power of the Holy Spirit, by engaging them with the Word of God and facilitating an encounter with God. Pastor Greg is committed to equipping leaders so that they might walk in God’s plan for their lives!
Mary Hinton was born in Carrollton Alabama and raised by her grandparents Thomas and Della Lawhorne. After graduating from Pickens County Training School she moved to Chicago and worked for Montgomery Wards mail order house until she got married and moved to Milwaukee Wisconsin. She is the mother of two daughters Diane Brown of Colorado Springs CO, and Yolanda Smith of Milwaukee; she is also the grand mother of Loreal Smith, and Brooke Moore and the Great Grand mother of Charles James 2nd.
She studied Business Management and Communication at M.A.T.C, Arts and Humanities & Communication at Alverno College, Biblical Studies at St Martin’s seminary and City College. She joined Parklawn Assembly of God December 1989, was baptized in the Holy Spirit and received leadership training in Prison Ministry and Cell Ministry. She became a Prison Fellowship Instructor and led seminars and bible studies at most of the prison facilities in the state of Wisconsin. She taught bible studies at Ellsworth Correctional for twenty years, Milwaukee County Jail for Eight years, and the Women’s Metro for the last fifteen years.
After Thirty One years of service at the Master Lock Company she retired in 2000, and became staff at Parklawn Assembly of God where she has worked in the capacity of Cell Leader, Women’s Network Pastor and currently in the role as Mission’s and Prayer Pastor. She enjoys bowling, traveling and spending time with family, but her greatest enjoyment is serving in ministry.
Wesley has been married to Danika for over 13 years. They have 3 school age children and fully understand the challenges and rewards of parenting in today’s fast paced world. Pastor Wes and Danika have been leading children’s ministry at Parklawn since 2012. Prior to coming on staff here at Parklawn, Pastor Wes had been a children’s pastor for over 6 years in Abilene Texas and before that he served as a children’s pastor for over 2 years in Ann Arbor Michigan.
Wesley is a graduate of Central Bible College with a degree in Theology and an ordained minister in the Assemblies of God. Pastor Wes and Danika strive to bring children and their families into a closer relationship with Jesus Christ. They use a wide variety of media, object lessons, skits, interactive games, puppets and sprit-led worship to bring children into a deeper connection with Christ and others. Family ministry is extremely important to Pastor Wes and his wife Danika. They desire to empower and encourage parents to live out Deuteronomy 6:4-9.
Hilary Kibaara Njagi, a native Kenyan, is the Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer for Parklawn Assembly of God and the school. A long time member of Parklawn, Kibaara has extensive experience in Finance and Accounting. Formerly a Senior Auditor for Coleman & Williams. Kibaara graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting from the University of Nairobi and later earned a Masters Degree in Finance and Accounting in Wisconsin. He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant(CPA) and a Certified Management Accountant (CMA). He is the founder and owner of Destiny Financial, LLC. And a proud father to his daughter, Naomi Njeri.
Hilary Kibaara Njagi has a tremendous passion for God’s word united with a love for God’s people. He has a contagious spirit of generosity that flows through every facet of his ministry. Having received his mandate from God, Kibaara, obediently fulfills his calling and obligations. Kibaara has seen the fulfillment of Ephesians 3:20 “Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us.”
Kibaara is strongly dedicated to reaching out to the youth, elderly, and lost souls as well as ministering to hurting people, and inspiring the believers. He has been actively involved in reaching put to the youth from his native land of Kenya and Uganda.
Pastor Yvonne Hatchett grew up in the inner-city of Milwaukee, Wisconsin and has seen both the negative and positive affects of being a youth in urban neighborhoods. By the guidance of God through a loving mother she was able to find refugee in the church through dance ministry. It was through this foundation that at the age of 13 Pastor Yvonne gave her life to God during a youth camp retreat. Since then she has been able to impact the lives of those around her to want a closer relationship with God. Her vision is to not just bridge the gap between church and the community but close it all together through outreach. She now holds a Masters in Practical Theology from Regent University and a Bachelors of Science in Information Studies with a minor in Business from the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee. She seeks to create a community where youth can be transparent and discover their identities in Christ through the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Her passion is to see the youth and young adults of Milwaukee utilizing all their gifts to bring glory and honor to God as they grow in a deeper relationship with Him.
